Driver orientation can be completed in the Birmingham, Alabama and Columbia, South Carolina, terminals. The orientation takes a full day and encompasses classes in logs, load securement, pre-and post-trip inspections. Training is both live and via video, with presentations by inbound dispatch, outbound dispatch, and settlements. Truck inspection needs to be completed prior to orientation. A road test will be completed the day of orientation. By orientation day’s end, barring unforeseen circumstances, the driver can be inserted into the dispatch process.
